My spelling has only gone downhill since i got to college. And now i say wang! That's about the sum of things. I wrote two essays today. One took me from 9am to 7pm and the other 11:45 to 1. The first one involved alot of walking around, a nap and reading my book but still 10 hours for 2.5 measely pages is pretty weak. However, i do think its pretty damn good. Number two, well its not real cool but it'll get the job done in a pinch. And pinch it did i do. like dew but nearly so light and airy, or wet for that matter. Like water it flowed from the electric impulses in me brain-hat to the fingers/keyboard/computer and then onto the screen. Had a massive wave of deja-vu 4/5 of the way through it. Pretty intense thinking about seeing my notes on my fridge mid-essay and the whole alien aspects of my handwriting. Also had the revelation that in class i come off as farther out there than i am. I'm not 100% sure of the reason but i do tend to be adversarial when i meet new people and am alone. Lot more friendly with a few good homies backing me up. Okay, rant over. As they say on 88th and 3rd:
peace, pot, microdot.

I'm out.

P.S. i like the New Nas single Hip-Hop is dead. That guy does some good things. Motorhead also good. Sam, you need to get Orgasmatron. Then revel in it.

Danny will be turning 20 years old this wednesday (the 17th, for victory) and for the love of g, the man himself and everything else sugary/spicy/nicey we need all y'alls to attend. SO if you are a friend of danny's or are friends with friends of danny's hit me up with a message and get ready to drop trou at his celebratory shindig. Nathaniel and Co. will provide some beverage relief and some snacky cakes (theoretically) but otherwise it's byob and bypa (bring yo punk ass). And that's pretty much that. <lj:music>AC/DC kinda want some Blood for Blood</lj:music>

Saw the play last night. Enjoyable. I was proud of austin's fantastic flasking. Very true to life. Everyone else quite good as well. Thanks to people for letting me kick it at their cast party, despite not being in the play and having been nothing more than a bit part actor. Makes me feel good inside. I must say, goddamnit towards the underage and highly attractive girls that now compose the ARHS drama group. I feel like a dirty old man; i have become very much my father. Bitching to hang with all you posi-homediggitys and such. I also cut my hand while punching austin's dash during serious rocking out. Putting away boxes was the good times too.

Last weekend thanks to the good folks who helped make my birthday special.

Many thanks to the good cats who made anti-flag double awesome as well.

Thanks for the snowboarding goodness this week as well teenage virginity defense league. Much love to you all.

Lastly, i tried on tiny sarah's Abercrombie and Fitch sweatshirt and the arms fit me. Now i kind of want one but the notion of buying into something as ominously preppy/bullshit/re-goddamn-donkulus and A and F turns me away. Maybe if i can find one damn cheap i will spray paint Black Flag on it and feel catharsis after having supported such a terrible cultural plague. Damn them and their comfortably long sleeves!

peace.

P.S. Drinking a pint (or three) before a play is both excellent and terrible. Excellent for the pint and the nice little buzz one feels while watching drama unfold and magic being made. Terrible in that if one does not micturate before the show one will hold thy urine for far too long and uncomfortable a time.

    <lj:music>none, but zeke/bon jovi in the head</lj:music>

Good weekend.

After the intense nerdery fri/sat came a good convo-breakfast with some good cats. i went home and then went up to snoqualmie for some night snowboarding action. Also good. The snow was shite but the jumps and people weren't. Took one to denny's with the gents as i'm sure you're all aware via jesse's post and made it home around midnight. Walked around, found determination and called it a victory. Today i spent about 3 hours walking around where i live picking up trash. I hate litter with a fiery passion and wish for sweet sweet poetic justice to strike down the foul breed that perpetrates that terrible crime. Just so you know, Miller Genuine Draft pounders are the preferred beverage of choice for litter prone drunkards followed closely by the ever so oversized Monster. And apparently its weird for this kind of thing to happen and people do not expect dishevelled young men to wander their neighborhood blasting deathpunk with large bags of trash. I condemn them as fools. Anyway, I found a great deal of satisfaction (and a bit of misanthropic hate too) in it and will soon be repeating the trip up at the U.

I caught some of the oscars tonight. I enjoy everything about the presenter's and the award leading up to the acceptance speech. The speeches generally bother me. Most of the time I feel compelled to leave the room and return 45 seconds later. They just feel dirty. However, props to the french guys who did march of the penguins for being badasses during theirs. Many thanks to Jon Stewart as well.

Still going to vote (and yes i am dumb enough to believe them), but feeling a scosh disenfranchised at the moment.

Thanks are due to Dillinger Four and Propagandhi.

    <lj:music>the voracious march of godliness</lj:music>

Went up to western on the weekend. hung with the homies and ensured that all is well in the north. listened to some seriously quality tunes, before, during and after a successful snowboarding venture, and now i really want to go again before the white stuff splits for the year. On that same note, whenever i go to bellingham, danny goose and i have hungover snowboarding adventures. i forgot my coat this time and ended up borrowing nathaniels leather biker jacket. First Class. i want to board in leathers more often. good jumps, good snow, and good cliches etc. went to wins and reminisced about telling a random stranger "that if one more dude comes in here he's gonna have to pee in the sink!" Red dwarf, talkie the toaster, white hole, would you like some toast?

Again, a nice ramble.

    <lj:music>flashback gift of gab</lj:music>

i found hip-hop that i don't hate. gift of gab, michael franti and spearhead you folks are gnarly. Thank you for making shit not about the ho's, the money, and the crap. DIY i love you.

i also started doing real workouts today. kind of sweet to be in a weight room again. i remember why i like free weights so much more than machines. i will ache tomorrow.

I bought some fancy beer the other day and i look forward to enjoying it very much. Arrogant Bastard and Allagash i look forward to drinking you. Mississippi Mud, you too.

My facial hair continues to be terribly awesome. and i do mean that once you gaze upon its figure you will be changed... forever. Danny and Joe never told me that it feels weird when you sleep.

tomorrow will be my first econ test. it should be extremely easy. i don't have an econ book but every time i'm in class i feel like i'm back in grade school. It reminds me of 3rd grade when half the kids didn't know what the fuck was going on and the other half either sought to curry favor or just shut the fuck up. i'm very tempted to make outbursts and start of revolution or something. i get in there and i'm jacked up and nothing happens. maybe tomorrow is the day. Power to the purple.

Words of wisdom:

Not even because this is how i'm earning my paychecks, but just because the shit feels good. -gift of gab

stealing dna samples from the unborn then you coming after us cause we sample the james brown horn... the cia running like they're jones indiana but they still won't talk about that jones in guyanna, this ain't a cartoon, no one slips on bananas, do you really think that car killed diana? I shot ronald reagan. I shot JFK. I slept with marilyn. She sung me happy birthday! -Michael franti and spearhead

-evan

i've had a kickass morning.

i didn't sleep at all last night. i tossed and turned from 1-4 then said fuck it. I got up and was gonna read for a while. i went downstairs for a change of pace but decided i didn't feel like reading so i stashed my book in my mailbox and went for a walk. walked from mcmahon up to 82nd and roosevelt. caught a 66 partway back. i passed a starbucks at like 4:20am and really wanted some coffee but they don't open til 5, so i had to wait until the return portion of my odyssey to get some. It was excellent. i made it back to the dorm and proceeded to watch the news from 6-8ish with intermittent reading and toilet sitting. I also drank another huge cup of coffee and ate a bagel with peanut butter. I had about 44-46 oz of the good ol' black stuff this morning. i rolled to econ about 8 after buying some bananas and gum. the bananas were kickass. econ was super fun. i was kinda spacing out, but it was really fun and i drew a picture of the starbucks chick cept she had claws and shoes made of cheeze and kinda looked like a clown. there were also ballerina/kung-fu/sumo wrestler stick figures. and a really shitting japanese rising sun. i got up about halfway through to take a whiz on account of the lots of coffee and a liter of water i drank. my econ class has two doors and i went to the one closest to the bathroom first but it was locked so i pushed on it for like 10-15 secs then said fuck it and went to the other one. I took a huge whiz. serious pressure relief. got back and loved the rest of econ. still cake. learned about some stuff. got back to the dorm early cause class got out early and chilled for a while until norskkurs. norsk class was awesome too. just tons of fun. got some sweet coffee stains on my shirt. i have a strong suspicion that i'm going to crash in about 9 hours. that is my goal. make it to 9pm then sleep a lot. bro coming up to give me stuff and take stuff back this evening. i've got an environmental science class coming up and it should be fun. OH shit, i almost forgot. i also rode a shopping kart that was just sitting out front of my norsk classroom. it was fun. people thought it was strange. i had me a great time. ok, thats about all. i hope you have good days too.

my facial hair is getting disguntingly hobo-ish. Mustache month you are too good. Hail hail!
